On September 29, 2017, Department of International Cooperation and Exchange organized the international students to carry out rich and colorful activities to celebrate the approaching Mid Autumn Day, a Chinese traditional festival.
On the playground, students from Chinese and International Students Association and international students carried out games with the theme of "Making Us Closer".
The games covered “Sticking Plaster”, “Telling the name of songs by listening to the tune”, “Turnip Squatting“and “Stepping Balloons”, etc. The students competed and cooperated in an atmosphere full of joyfulness enhancing their friendship.
The international students also got together in the classroom to make Mid Autumn Festival greeting cards. They picked up the scissors and the colourful pencils, and folded cardboard to form greeting cards which were integrated with diversified cultures.
Most international students celebrated the Mid Autumn Festival in China for the first time. While listening to the Chinese ancient stories, they had moon cakes, experiencing the unique charm of Chinese traditional festival.
